The first helicopter entered serial production in 1942, the Sikorsky R4, an American machine. Others followed, including several from German manufacturers – the Flettner Fl.282 and Focke-Achgelis Fa.223 both would see limited service before the end of World War II.
Black Helicopters brings the helicopters to Panzer Grenadier: 28 very fine die-cut pieces, featuring the R4, Fl.282 and Fa.223 plus the Fa.284 (a heavy transport helicopter), the P.1003 (a tilt-rotor transport) and the Japanese Ka-1 autogyro. We tell you their stories, and then we include 10 new scenarios so you can play with them. You’ll need Parachutes Over Crete and Elsenborn Ridge to play those scenarios
